Wherever possible we will use chemical treatments. This method is relatively inexpensive and effective as all treatments are carried out on-site, thus preventing the spread of contaminated soil. However, the treatment usually takes a couple of growing seasons followed by a couple of years of monitoring to ensure that the probability of regrowth is negligible. In some cases a quick solution is required. We can arrange excavation, installation of a vertical barrier and recycling of the weed material both on-site or off-site whatever is required by our reputable qualified contractors under supervision by our certified experts.

Our eradication options rely on the application of herbicides by both spraying and injection as the proven most cost effective and efficient option for eradication of Japanese Knotweed. Other options based on physical removal will be employed when necessary for Japanese Knotweed and other weeds. According to known records both methods have an efficiency of eradication of knotweed over 90%; no scientific evidence is known in the literature explaining which method is more efficient. Wherever possible the injection technique is intended to be used. It does not cause severe damage to surrounding vegetation and wildlife using common herbicide such as glyphosate.

Importantly, the Environment Agency approved the use of stem injection at organic field sites without the loss of their organic status.
